Custom Manufacturing Disclaimer

All blinds and curtains manufactured by personalvrstoreo are custom-made to order based on specific measurements, materials, and specifications provided by the customer. Due to the custom nature of our products, we maintain a strict return policy that reflects the specialized manufacturing process and materials investment required for each order.

Before production begins, customers receive detailed quotations including specifications, materials, finishes, and dimensions for approval. It is the customer's responsibility to verify all measurements and specifications before confirming the order. Once production commences, orders cannot be cancelled or modified without potential charges for materials and labor already invested.

General Return Policy

Custom-manufactured products are generally non-returnable and non-refundable due to their specialized nature. Each product is engineered and fabricated to customer-specific requirements and cannot be resold or repurposed for other projects. Standard return privileges do not apply to custom orders once production has been initiated.

In cases where products are damaged during shipping, contain manufacturing defects, or do not meet agreed-upon specifications as documented in the purchase order, we will work with the customer to resolve the issue. This may include repair, replacement of defective components, or in rare cases, complete remake of the product at no additional charge.

Manufacturing Defects

If you receive a product with manufacturing defects, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery. Manufacturing defects include issues such as improper assembly, dimensional inaccuracies beyond acceptable tolerances, material defects, or non-functional mechanisms. Defects must be documented with photographs and detailed descriptions before any remedial action is taken.

Upon verification of manufacturing defects, we will arrange for inspection and determine the appropriate remedy. This may include on-site repair by our technicians, shipment of replacement components, or complete product replacement. The determination of defect validity and remedy selection is at the sole discretion of personalvrstoreo based on engineering assessment.

Shipping Damage

Products are carefully packaged to prevent damage during transit. However, if products arrive damaged, you must note the damage on the delivery receipt and photograph all damaged items immediately. Notify us within 24 hours of delivery with photographic evidence of packaging condition and product damage. Failure to document and report shipping damage promptly may void eligibility for replacement.

Once shipping damage is verified, we will file a claim with the carrier and arrange for replacement of damaged products. Depending on the extent of damage and urgency of the project, we may expedite production of replacement items. Customers are responsible for retaining all original packaging materials until the damage claim is resolved.

Measurement and Specification Errors

Accurate measurements are critical for custom manufacturing. Customers are responsible for providing correct measurements and specifications. We offer optional professional measuring services for an additional fee to ensure accuracy. If products do not fit due to measurement errors provided by the customer, the customer is responsible for any costs associated with remanufacturing.

If products do not match specifications that were confirmed in writing by personalvrstoreo prior to production, we will remake the products at no charge. Customers must verify all specifications on quotations and order confirmations before production begins. Changes to specifications after production has commenced may result in additional charges and extended lead times.

Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled before production begins with written notice. Cancellation requests received after production has started are subject to charges for materials purchased, labor invested, and administrative costs. The cancellation fee will be calculated based on the stage of production and documented costs incurred.

For large commercial projects with long lead times, cancellation policies may be specified in the purchase agreement. Deposits are non-refundable once production has been initiated unless cancellation is due to our inability to fulfill the order as specified.

Warranty Coverage

Products are covered by a limited warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty terms vary by product type and are specified in writing at the time of purchase. Standard warranty periods range from 1 to 5 years depending on product category and application. Motorized components may have separate warranty terms from mechanical components.

Warranty coverage does not include damage caused by improper installation, misuse, abuse, unauthorized modifications, normal wear and tear, or environmental factors beyond product specifications. Warranty claims require documentation including proof of purchase, installation date, and detailed description of the issue. For warranty service, contact our customer service team to initiate a claim.

Refund Processing

In the rare cases where refunds are approved, refunds will be processed to the original method of payment within 30 business days of approval. Refund amounts may be reduced by restocking fees, return shipping costs, or depreciation for opened or installed products. Partial refunds may be issued for partial returns or when only some items in an order qualify for return.

Custom-manufactured products that do not meet specifications as documented in the purchase agreement may qualify for full refunds at our discretion after unsuccessful remedy attempts. Refunds do not include installation costs, freight charges, or any consequential damages. All refund determinations are final.

Return Authorization Process

All returns require prior authorization. To request a return authorization, contact our customer service team with your order number, reason for return, and supporting documentation. Return authorization requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Products returned without authorization will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender at the sender's expense.

If a return is authorized, you will receive a Return Authorization Number and instructions for packaging and shipping. Products must be returned in original packaging with all components, hardware, and documentation included. Returned products become the property of personalvrstoreo and will not be returned to the customer regardless of refund approval or denial.
